May 1st - I put together a preliminary budget. The group has not taken a decision about the display screen size and functionality.
May 1st - I sent an e-mail to Ms. Patti Fylling asking her to order an Arduino Mega for our group. The screen will have to be ordered later because the group has not made decisions on that yet. Other parts are being provided by Dr. Kuczenski.
May 1st - I emailed Dr. Saxena, our partner, to inform her about our progress and to check her availability to attend the presentation in 2 weeks, on May 15th.
May 4th - I sketched a prototype of our design which can be seen below.
May 7th - After doing some research online, I found a water tank level sensor project that used Arduino. I remembered that Dr. Kuczenski had mentioned about it in one of our discussions in the beginning of this project. This website has details about the parts required, set up and the code. I shared it with group members and suggested that this could be useful to us.
May 7th - Arduino Mega has arrived so I stopped by Ms. Fylling office to pick it up.
Reflection:
I was able to get my e-folio back in order and running. I feel that I have made more contributions to the project this week than last week when I was stuck with my e-folio.
